Reader’s letter: Students want more privacy in locker room

To the Editor:

There is not enough privacy in the locker room. When we have the swimming lesson in gym, we have to change and at such a young age, we are very weird about things like. That is just the way we are. So it doesn’t help that we can’t change without someone looking. For people who are saying that doesn’t seem so bad, you try it; it doesn’t feel good. For the kids who are bullied about their body, they don’t want anyone seeing them without clothes.

I don’t know why we haven’t got stalls in the locker room with all of the construction. We were hoping for doors on the locker room stalls, but that is not happening.

What we’re hoping for from this is that we can have the school see that students do not think that there is enough privacy. Not only do we feel unsafe in a way, but also mad that after all of the construction we still don’t have doors on our stalls.
