“Spiderman into the Spiderverse” is a movie about Miles Morales, a Brooklyn teenager who gets bit by a radioactive spider. After a failure with an experimental dimensional portal, things from the “multiverse” start to come to Miles’ dimension. It is his job along with the other spidermen and spiderwomen is to destroy the portal and save the world. There are many surprises along the way, and it’s an entertaining story.

The story originated from the Spiderverse comics from 2015, but they changed the plot and got rid of some of the characters. That was fine with me because the plot from the comics seemed kind of weird, but they were still pretty good. Besides that they still had the most of the original elements featured in the comics, and it was fun to see how they adapted it to the screen. It’s a good comic series, so if you want an idea of what the movie will be like, read the Spiderverse comics.

The animation in the movie was unique because it looked like you were in the comic book itself. The story was alright because it was fun to watch, however it had a slightly predictable plot. I also liked it because it was funny and it had many twists and turns. 

My final opinion is that the movie is pretty good and you should definitely go and see it. It’s a fun entertaining movie for the entire family, has some funny jokes, and can be relatable. I would rate it a 4.5 out 5 stars.
