Upcoming+Marvel+Movies+and+TV+Shows

Marvel just announced 30 new TV shows and movies. This article will tell you what shows are coming out and what their about, and while I would love to fit it all in one article I can’t so this will be one of 3 parts. Now sit back, relax, and read.

Spoiler Warning: Do not read if you want to watch Avengers: Endgame or Spiderman: Far From Home!

WandaVision: This show follows Wanda Maximoff (Scarlet Witch) and  Vision who are stuck in a reality in Wanda’s mind. Each episode is a different decade and every time they figure out it’s a reality, time gets rewound. We also find out that there is a new organization that’s trying to help Wanda. I highly recommend this show if you like weird shows and cliffhangers.

Falcon and Winter Soldier: This show takes place after Avengers: Endgame where Captain America gave Sam Wilson (The Falcon) his shield. Sam is trying to find out why Captain America gave him the shield and not Bucky Barnes (Winter Soldier). Meanwhile, Bucky may have other problems. This show releases on March 19 2021 on Disney+.

Loki: This show follows Loki after Endgame. It will show where Loki went after he touched the tesseract. We can see in the trailer that in this show Loki might be a ruler like he has always wanted to be. We don’t much about this show yet but I already know it’s going to be good. This show releases May 2021 on Disney+.

Black Widow: This movie follows Natasha Romanoff (Black Widow) after Captain America: Civil War.  She goes to her old associates and confronts her past. This movie will introduce a couple of new characters, one of them including Yelena Belova. (It is rumored that this movie might be pushed back again). This movie releases on May 7 2021 in theaters.

Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings: This movie is about Shang-Chi, a son who is training to be an assassin even though he doesn’t want to be. He then leaves his father who is part of a group called “The Ten Rings” which also happens to be the group that kidnapped Tony Stark in the first Iron Man. Although Shang-Chi doesn’t have powers, he is very trained in martial arts. This is about all we know about the movie but hopefully more comes out closer to the release date. This movie releases July 9 2021 in theaters.

What If?: This show is about what if something else happened. Some examples are: what if Peggy Carter got the super serum? Or, what if the other half of all living things got snapped away? We do not know what the episodes will be about other than the plot of the show and the Peggy Carter one. This show releases summer 2021 on Disney+.

Hawkeye: This show doesn’t have much information about it but here is what I do know. Clint Barton (Hawkeye) is training a new apprentice named Kate Bishop which is not the girl Clint was training at the beginning of Avengers: Endgame, that was his daughter. The series will probably also talk about his time as a vigilante in Avengers: Endgame. We also know that Natasha Romanoff’s old associate, Yelena Belova, will be in the show, maybe to be the new Black Widow. This show releases fall 2021 on Disney+.

The Eternals: This movie is about a group of people from space called “The Eternals” who have existed for millennia and look like humans but have superhuman powers. The Eternals are also descendants a race of gods called Celestials (who you might have heard of in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.2). They mated with humans for an experiment a long time ago and left two new races called The Eternals and The Deviants. The Eternals are almost immortal and can merge their powers to make even stronger powers. The Deviants on the other hand are basically mutations who are very unstable and crave power, an example is Thanos. This movie releases on November 5 2021 in theaters.

Spiderman 3: This movie will follow the events after Spiderman: Far From Home where Quinten Beck (Mysterio) told the whole world Spiderman was a bad guy and that his real name was Peter Parker. There have also been rumors that Andrew Garfield and Toby Maguire will be in the movie returning their roles as Spiderman. Kristen Dunst and Emma Stone may also be reprising their roles as MJ and Gwen Stacy which will probably tie into the new Doctor Strange movie. This movie releases on December 17 2021 in theaters.

Ms. Marvel: This show is about Kamala Khan who loves superheroes, especially Captain Marvel. After school she goes to a party and gets hit with a mist called terigenisis which chooses whether to give you powers or turn you to stone based on your DNA. She later finds out she can stretch or shrink and parts of her body. Although we don’t know much about the show we do know that Captain Marvel will play an important role. This show releases fall 2021 on Disney+.
