Felix’s POV

            I was adding some key features to the base, nobody but me knows about this place yet. It’s located on top of a tree. I have realized that not many monsters know how to get up here, Making it a great location. I jump down from the tree, in the distance, I see someone hiding in a bush. 

NO POV

Felix points his katana at the bush, “HELLO! How does it feel to get jump scared at random times?!?” Felix says, to the bush. Little did he know, Skylar was actually right behind him. “Huh? Who’re you talking to?” Skylar said as she stood behind him. Felix looks shocked that someone is behind him, he swings his katana. Skylar is surprised but then dodges it quickly. Felix turns around “oh, it’s you” Felix says, putting his katana away. “Hi! And why were you talking to that bush?” Skylar asks, confused. “That’s none of your business!” Felix replies,embarrassed.” Uh, ok. It’s fine, I don’t need to know anyway.” Skylar says “that’s right! You don’t need to know!” Felix exclaimed. After a few minutes of silence, Skylar asks “where’s the sweater boy? Rory I think” “I don’t know, I haven’t seen him in an hour. Knowing Rory he already has broken at least five bones,” Felix shrugged. “Yeah, you’re right.” Skylar replied, thinking for a moment.

             “wait- WHAT IF HE’S DEAD?!” Skylar exclaimed in a wary tone. “Well, if he is, I would plan his funeral for him.” Felix tiredly replied. “I mean, shouldn’t we look for him?” Skylar said. “Probably, I don’t know where to start though.” Felix replied. “We should look for clues first. It’s like playing a game!” Skylar said “what do you think this is? An early 2000’s kid show?!” Felix sounded sarcastic. After standing there in the middle of the forest, they finally went, looking for Rory. “I’m gonna go in the trees, if you see him just yell” Felix said, right before climbing the tree. “Ok!” Skylar replied. There’s no sign of anything for a while, until they see a shoe on the ground. “Hey! Masked guy!” “It’s Felix. Get it right” Felix said, sounding annoyed.”Okay, Felix. I think this shoe belongs to Rory!” Skylar says as she holds it up for him to see. The shoe is pink and tiny, small enough to fit Rory’s foot. “Are you sure? It could have been someone else’s shoe”. Felix said. “If I remember correctly, his shoes did look like this. I think it’s his.” Skylar says. “Ok,smarty pants. Lead the way then.” Felix said casually.

            “Ok genius, I will gladly lead the way.” Skylar said sarcastically. “Well anyways, I think we’re on the right track”. Skylar said (with the wind blowing in her hair like a main character) as they searched for more clues towards Rory. 

            As they were searching, they found a river nearby. “Oooh a river! It’s a good time for a drink.” Skylar thinks. As she starts kneeling down to get a drink, Felix stops her. “Don’t.It’s contaminated with blood.Even I can see that.” Felix says in a serious tone. Skylar looking a bit confused, looks into the clear, refreshing water revealing strands of blood flowing down. “Oh. Thanks for the save Felix.” Skylar nodded. Then, she turned to Felix in shock and asked “wait-What if Rory the sweater boy fell in the river?!” “Probably, he looks like he can’t swim so he might have drowned” Felix said. 

“Hmmm based on the clues,Rory probably got hurt and drowned in the river, and ended up somewhere.” Skylar explained.”Wow. You’re smart” Felix said out of nowhere. “Wow. You never gave a compliment to me before.Now..let’s follow this river!” Skylar exclaimed. Now, the two of them are following the way where the blood is coming from the river. 

           When they were at the end of the river, they noticed a large cave. “He’s in here. I can tell”. Skylar said affirmingly. “Are you a robot or something? How would you know he’s in there and not somewhere else?” Felix asked. “I know I know.” Skylar kinda shouted. “I can sense him being in here. Plus, there’s nowhere else to go besides this cave.” Skylar said seriously. “Ok, fine. Let’s just go into this dark, suspicious looking cave.” Felix says carelessly. “If you don’t want to find Rory, you can leave” Skylar said angrily. She was getting ready to go in, Felix turns around and walks 27 steps towards the entrance, then turns around suddenly. “Oh. You’re not leaving?” Skylar asks. “I’m just here to protect you. You will die in a moment’s time.” Felix replied. “Right” Skylar says as they enter the dark,cold,wet cave where Rory could have been in. 

So, back to the others in the cave…

Fiory’s POV (both Rory and Fin)

What should I do? I’m lost in a cave,a monster might kill me, and I’m right next to Rory who I somehow can’t stop thinking about. I just don’t know what to do right now. I’m stressed, I’m tired, and we gotta get out of here. We gotta…Fin thought as his head exhaustedly leans on Rory’s shoulder.

“Uh F-Fin?” Rory asks, but Fin is already blacked out due to his exhaustivness.

Oh m-my God… wha-what is h-happening right n-now?! Rory’s cheeks turned bright red. W-What is this?!… I-It’s not like I like him or anyth-thing… Is It? Oh what am I thinking… Even if I did… Rory thinks of the possibilities. Eventually he fell asleep himself on top of Fin. 

Skylar + Felix’s POV

            The two enter the cave in search of their dear friend Rory, the cave is suspiciously quiet for this time of day. The only thing that can be heard is the footsteps of our brave (Amanda the) adventurers and the occasional dripping of water. “Stay on guard. Although I hate walking through caves, they’re still dangerous” Felix warned Skylar. “Ok,Ok..” Skylar sighed as they both walked more deep into the cave.”Why does Rory always have to be kidnapped in a cave? Why couldn’t it be a forest…” Felix grumbled under his breath. “Well, I think it’s more suspenseful this way.” Skylar said. And btw, why do you hate caves anyway?” She smirked “It’s just the experience got boring after me and my former best friend from 3rd grade would constantly explore caves” “Who’s the friend~?” She asks, still looking smug. “I don’t wanna talk about him! And why are you so smug!?!?” Felix said “heh. Just a habit!” She smiled. “And he’s not my friend anymore!!!” “Are ya sure??” She asked. “Yes! I hate him!” Felix sounds more upset than usual. “Woah, Chill dude.” Skylar said. As they were talking, a loud moving sound came out of nowhere. “..What was that?” Skylar asked as she instinctively went into a fighting pose. Felix gets ready to grab his katana, an ominous roar is heard, it sounds like it’s getting closer with each passing second. 

“I think we’re being watched..” Felix says. And then just out of nowhere, the figure appears..

“BEHIND YOU!” Skylar shouted…
