Upcoming Marvel Movies and Tv Shows Pt. 2

Upcoming+Marvel+Movies+and+Tv+Shows+Pt.+2

Now as you may or may not know, Marvel Studios is releasing 30 new movies and TV shows. I am a huge fan of Marvel and while I was looking at what the new content will be about I realized that it takes a long time to look at 30 movies and show plots, so I am making a 3 part article about what the content will be about. Hope this helps!

Spoilers Ahead!

Thor: Love and Thunder: Taika Watiti is bringing back Jane! Natalie Portman (who plays Jane Foster) is returning with an all-new look. The story will revolve around Jane becoming another Thor. This movie will be very weird, but that’s kinda Taika’s style. The Guardians of the Galaxy are most likely going to be in the movie (after all Thor did join them) along with space sharks, yes you heard me right, space sharks. The movie will also be bringing back old characters from the first two Thor movies like Sif and maybe Darcy. Although there have been some theories as to who the villain is, we don’t know for sure who it’s is, but we do know that the role will be played by Christian Bale. I am really looking forward to this movie because I loved Ragnarok. The movie releases on May 6, 2022.

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness: This movie will follow Doctor Strange after the events of WandaVision, going into the multiverse which will expand the universe for many new movies. The cast of this movie includes Benedict Cumberbatch as Doctor Strange, Elizabeth Olsen as Wanda Maximoff (Scarlet Witch), and Kathryn Hahn as Agnes/Agatha Harkness. The movie might also include characters outside the MCU like Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield as Spiderman and Ryan Reynolds as Deadpool. They may also introduce a new character, America Chaves as Miss America. This movie will probably act like an Avengers movie even though it isn’t, like Captain America: Civil War. This movie will release March 25, 2022.

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever: We don’t know much about this movie since they stopped working on it after Chadwick Boseman’s (Black Panther) death in August. We do know that the role of T’Challa aka Black Panther, will not be recast and will not have a digital double which means they won’t CGI him into the movie. There have been rumors that the movie will be about Wakanda and its history. It releases July 8, 2022.

The Marvels: Unlike the first Captain Marvel, this movie takes place in present-day MCU which is 5 years from our year. Not much information has been released about this movie yet but there are some rumors. The movie will probably talk more about Monica Rambeau, who will be played by Teyonah Pariss, and why she doesn’t like Carol Danvers anymore. In WandaVision, which may connect, whenever somebody talks about asking Captain Marvel for help she immediately says no. The show releases on November 11, 2022.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3: Now this movie is going to be very chaotic. We know that Thor joined the Guardians after Endgame and we also know that in Infinity War, Gamora died but in 2014 Gamora is now alive in the present day, confusing right? The movie will most likely talk about Thor: Love and Thunder and/or the Guardians trying to find 2014 Gamora. This movie releases sometime in 2023.

Deadpool 3: Deadpool 2 is one of my all-time favorite movies. Although the Deadpool movies are rated R, Deadpool 2 has a PG-13 version called Once Upon a Deadpool. At the end of the second Deadpool, Wade (Deadpool) travels back in time and try’s to fix his mistakes and help the timeline. We don’t really know what this movie will be about but a really good guess is that it’s going to be about him going back in time. Some characters may return like Colossus, Negasonic Teenage Warhead, Yukio, Russel, and Peter. From what we know this movie won’t be in the MCU but Deadpool might. This movie releases on November 3, 2023.

Moon Knight: The show Moon Knight is about Marc Spector, a CIA agent who, while on a mission, is saved by the moon god Khonshu. Khonshu then takes over Marc’s body and he becomes the human form of the moon god on earth and develops many alter egos. While we don’t know for sure who will star in this show there are rumors that Oscar Isaac will play Moon Knight. This show will release sometime in 2022.

She-Hulk: Jennifer Walters, a lawyer who helps superhero’s and is also the cousin of Bruce Banner (the Hulk), is She-Hulk. Jennifer was walking in an alley and got shot by a crime boss, she needed blood but the only person who could give it to her was Bruce. She gained the same powers as the hulk except she keeps her intelligence. We don’t know what the plot will be about but Abomination may return as the villain. This show will release some time in 2022

Iron Heart: In the comics, Riri Williams is obsessed with Iron Man and she decides to make a suit inspired by him. While studying at MIT, Tony Stark approaches her and says she will be the next Iron Man. She then joins the Avengers and helps fight. Now we know that in the MCU  Tony Stark (Iron Man) is dead, since he is dead this show may alter how she becomes the next Iron Man. This shows release date is unknown.

Armor Wars: At last Rhodey gets the recognition he deserves. This show follows Rhodey (War Machine) trying to stop people using Stark Industries weapons. The show may also talk about him dealing with Tony Starks death and Captain America is gone. The villain has been rumored to be Justin Hammer who was also in Iron Man 2. There are also rumors White Vison may appear in the show. We don’t know this show’s release date.
