The Minnesota Vikings defeated the Carolina Panthers 34-28 on Sunday, barely squeaking out the win in overtime. After Greg Joseph missed a potential game winning field goal at the end of regulation, the Vikings won the coin toss and drove down the field to find K.J Osborn for a game winning touchdown.

With under 7 minutes to go, the Vikings looked as if they were going to get their second straight win being up 28-17 with little time left. But after a missed field goal by Greg Joseph, the Panthers and Sam Darnold created a 7 play, 55 yard drive, that set up a field goal to make it a 28-20 game. Then, they forced a 3 and out. From his own 4 yard line, Sam Darnold lead the Panthers downfield for a touchdown and 2 point conversion, picking up 2 4th down conversions along the way.

In overtime, the Vikings started their drive on their 25. After a few handoffs and passes, Kirk Cousins found K.J. Osborn for a 27 yard game-winning touchdown to put the Vikings at 3-3.

The Vikings have their bi week now followed by a big game against the 5-1 Dallas Cowboys.  With the Green Bay Packers at 5-1 they will need to win to stay competitive with them.
