I love to dance

I close my eyes and the music starts

My brain tells my feet what to do

My ankles twist and turn

My arms flow like wind

My hair waves and swerves in the wind of my body turning

The music in my ears brings my teeth and my mouth muscles to a smile

And my brain slows down from going a million times a mile

When the last beat stops

I open my eyes and I feel at peace with the world
