We did a student spotlight and we saw how much you guys loved it, and we felt like we couldn’t leave the teachers out so here’s our very first teacher spotlight of the year. We had a hard time picking who our first teacher would be and we’re very glad to announce Mrs. Martin. I hope you guys enjoy the teacher spotlight as much as you enjoyed student spotlights!! We had Mrs. Martin answer seven different questions that we asked her and she had great answers! 

• What three traits define you? Friendly, Hardworking, and a Good Listener!
• What is your greatest accomplishment? Having my kids! 
• What is one thing you can’t live without? Between books and music.
•  What is the greatest challenge you had to overcome during your lifetime? Trying to switch from being a teacher to a librarian!
• What is your favorite thing to do? Read, go on walks, do silly things with my kids!
• What is the weirdest job you have ever had? This job in college where I had to keep my room clean so new students could see the dorms and I would get paid!
• What would you most like to tell yourself at age 13? Don’t try to be perfect, mistakes are good and nobody is perfect!
